With the continuous development of economic globalization and Internet, cross-border e-commerce, relying on the mature network environment, is rapidly rising in the world as a new business model. In 2021, the global retail sales of e-commerce is expected to reach US $4.878 trillion, and the global cross-border e-commerce transaction volume is expected to grow to US $1.25 trillion. One belt, one road, China has been sending good signals to the cross-border electricity supplier industry in recent years. The industry has maintained a sustained and rapid development trend. But compared with the industry hegemony of Amazon and Wish, China's cross-border e-commerce enterprises still have a certain distance. If traditional foreign trade enterprises want to continue to develop, they must use cross-border e-commerce platform to expand overseas markets. From the perspective of business model and cross-border e-commerce, this paper analyzes sumitong and foreign cross-border e-commerce platforms, and compares them in terms of profit model, payment method and cross-border logistics. Based on the different problems found at home and abroad in the research, this paper puts forward some targeted opinions and suggestions to provide reference for China's cross-border e-commerce enterprises to improve their business model. It will help enterprises break the shackles of traditional trade mode and accelerate transformation and upgrading.
